Our weekend adventure

We arrived in Saint George around five pm. The hotel was really nice and we went straight to the pool. We did the swimming thing for about an hour and then we showered and went out to eat. We had dinner at Outback and did some shopping. We were pretty tired so we went to bed around ten.

Saturday morning we bought some breakfast and ate it at the park. The ice cream truck came by and we bought some toffee bars. Brayden didn't eat his fast enough and soon it was melting all over the place.





We drove around the city. Saint George is really growing. We actually ran into the Goo family at Costco filling up gas. They were heading back home. We took Brayden to Fiesta Fun and did some miniature golfing and played some games.



Then it was back to the hotel for a nap. We over slept and by the time we made it to the pool, the sun was already going down. We only stayed for a little. We left the pool and went to see Ice Age 2. Brayden seemed to like it. He got scared when the scary fishes were attacking the animals. We had some dinner at a Japanese Restaurant and headed back to the hotel to watch some movies before going to bed.

Sunday morning we ended up sleeping in and had some breakfast at the hotel before driving back. The drive back was nice and pretty short. We stopped in Springville to rest some and get some dinner! Right before we were leaving brayden was walking around with a newspaper in his hand and fell right on his mouth. Since he was holding something he didn't have his hands to stop his fall. There was a lot of blood and it caused three of his teeth to push back up into the gums. He cried so hard, it was very sad! We took him to our neighbor who is a dentist. He said it actually happens quite often with little kids and the only thing to do is wait till they come back down on their own. We gave brayden some tylenol and it helped relieve the pain. We are going to do xrays on thursday to just make sure but this morning he is doing fine. He is back to his normal self. He is only eating yogurt and applesauce but he is talking and playing. His lip is a little swollen and he now smiles with his top lip curled over his teeth.




So our little duck is doing well. We hope his teeth come down soon. Despite our weekend ending on a bad note, we had a lot of fun. It was nice to get away and spend time together.
