Our busy June

We were home about two and a half weeks before we flew back to Hawaii for the second time in a month. So just when the kids are adjusting to Utah, they had to switch back to Hawaii time. Yes, it would have been easier to just stay, but we had things to do here.

Like Bray's kindergarten graduation...which we missed because it was the day we flew back the first time around. Bray was jet lagged, tired, and refused to go to school that day. With our trips, bray ended up missing 5 of the 8 tee ball games.

We had dinner up in the Canyon one night. Yummy tin foil dinners, smores, and banana boats. I think we need to do it again soon. It was so fun.

Hawaii June Trip

The only reason I would fly back to Hawaii so soon after returning would be for my grandparents sealing in the Kona Temple. My brother brought his family & less than two-month-old. We both promised to be there and we were so glad we did. It was definitely worth it to see something our family has waited for a very long time. It was an amazing day.

My wonderful in-laws took the two oldest for me while we went to Kona. Saved me a lot of money not bringing those two. Plus, we had enough kids to keep the older cousins busy babysitting outside the temple.

we flew into kona at 6 am. we were pretty tired. abby was awake and all smiles.

this time around we stayed in waikele with my dad at uncle peter's condo. i think the kids did miss manoa. they've only known manoa when we come to hawaii. although it was convenient to be closer to my grandma guys and the kims. saw them alot more this time around.

dane was in hawaii the week prior to us arriving so the kids really didn't see dane for almost three weeks. our trips overlapped one day and we spent it at the beach.

one day we took the kids to the north shore to eat at giovanni's shrimp truck. they were in heaven. kinda expensive but they ate everything. we took them to pcc after and went through the villages. they really enjoyed that. we also went to see the new night show, Ha--the breath of life. Bray loved the fire knife part. thanks uncle and aunty for the tickets and dinner. thanks ash for watching mika during the night show. she would have hated it.
