The first day we spent by the lake. The water was chilly, but the kids didn't seem to notice much. They played and had so much fun. Later that day, the Laings came to hang out and we headed back to the beach for more. They joined us for dinner at the cabin and headed home. We're glad they came.

On our second day, we rented a boat. We stayed pretty much the whole day down there. It was pretty windy at times and the water was freezing! We tried the tube first and once a couple of the kids fell into the water, they didn't want to go back in the tube. They enjoyed just riding in the boat more than the tube. The water was just too cold for them. The guys tried wakeboarding later in the day. The men took most of the kids with them on the boat and Dane said the kids cheered louder when they fell down than when they got up on the board. Dane's arms were killing him for a couple of days. We ended our day a little early when it got even colder, windier, and storm clouds started rolling into the area.

i had fun driving the boat...

that evening, the kids were pretty tired from the day. we did dinner, put on a movie, and i think everyone in the house was asleep by 9:30 pm. Ha ha.

we left for home around one the next day. after we tried le beux's raspberry shakes. it was pretty yummy. bray pretty much finished ours off for us. mika was eating an oreo and fell asleep pretty quick...

we ate really well on this trip. every family provided two meals and we had soooo much food, it was ridiculous. we could have stayed a couple more days. we ate a lot of meat like steak, ribs, kalbi... everything was delicious. the kids loved spending every day with their friends. they were sad to come back home.

ha ha how funny! I was at bear lake too over Labor Day. It was super windy huh?!! My uncle brought his wave runners and it never even touched the water. No one wanted to go in the water.
