Home for the Holidays

well, at least for dane. although brayden did say one day on a drive that he was home. he loves it here. both the kids adjust really well. here are some highlights from our trip so far.

we've played dress up with aunty britty's scarves



it was overcast the first week the kids and i arrived. bray begged everyday to go to the beach, but britt and i didn't want to brave the cold water. our alternative was to shoot them with water outside. they didn't even mind that it was freezing. aunty tiffy even washed them down too so it doubled for their bath that day.



took the kids to windward mall and let them run around the play area. it was still rainy that day but they needed to get out of the house.



we visited grandpa takamoto. bray really enjoyed grandpa's magnifying glass. i was worried he would jack his eyes. ani enjoyed grandpa's lint brush.



i think bray remembered our last visit because he kept asking if grandpa was going to fall asleep again.



when there is only one tricycle you do what the taiwanese people do with one moped. you squeeze them all onto one.



aunty britty bought the kids a picnic table to enjoy eating out on the lanai. they love it! we decorated three gingerbread houses. by the third one the kids were losing interest.









aunty britty did a little photoshoot of the kids.



we went christmas caroling with friends and family and gave out the gingerbread houses we decorated.







daddy arrived the monday before christmas. the kids really missed him. we finally made it to the beach. it was just a little windy but not too bad.



we wrote this for my family and recorded the video for them also. sorry the wind makes it hard to hear ani.





ok, i think that is good for tonight. i've been trying to get us caught up on our posts. i still have christmas day pictures that i'll do soon. we finally got a new laptop and i can easily download pics and post them. so i'm hoping i'll be updating this thing more often.
