Our summer so far

here's what we've been doing.

the kids have been learning new tricks. we bought them both chopsticks we found at the asian market. they even had a left-handed one for bray.

put the kids in swimming lessons. they've loved it!

ani is on the left practicing her kicks. her report said she does great straight leg kicks!

signed bray up for soccer league. he loves his new stuff. we can't wait to watch him in action.

then bray went with my dad to hawaii. my stubborn grandpa finally got baptized. yay! when we found out my dad was planning on attending, we prepared bray to go to hawaii for the first time without us. we sent him with my dad for a week and then dane flew down for a week and is bringing him back.

father's day was spent at my parent's house with my family. we did a video chat with dane. it's the first time dane has been able to spend father's day with his father in a very long time. i'm glad he was able to be there. i know everyone says their daddy's are the greatest but ours really are the best. dane, my dad, dane's dad...we think they are pretty special.

the kids decided to make a gift for my dad all on their own. they decorated his side table with baby powder. it was funny to catch them in the act.

as soon as i walked in, ani says to me, "malakai did it." wow, where's the love? she just threw him under the bus without batting an eye. no loyalty there. considering she was covered the most in powder, we're pretty sure malakai was just following his older cousin.

since the boys left, we've had ALOT of girl time on our hands...

i know i look horrible in this picture but ani loves the pictures of the "girlfriends".

ani has missed bray so much. she's lost without him. dane and bray arrive tomorrow morning and we are soooo excited to see them. we can't wait!

i just had to add this last pic of bray that my sister-in-law took of him. he looks so grown up and adorable. i miss my little helper. she did such a great job. thanks britt! i can't wait to see the rest.
