Wakey Wakey Mr. Alex!

Today we drove up to Primary Children's for Brayden's Cardio MRI. Poor Bray couldn't eat all day and he was starving when they finally put him under. It was hard to see him crying when they were inserting the IV. It only took thirty minutes for the MRI and then we just had to wait for the drugs to wear off. They said only one parent could stay with him, but luckily they let both of us stay. Two hours after they gave him the drugs, he started to stir. They warned us that the drugs would make him cranky. He kept talking bubbles and it was amusing. He was a little disoriented and very upset that his shoes were missing. Then he was so sure that Papa Pane'e wrote with a purple marker on his pants. Funny Kid. We couldn't let him walk or sit by himself because he was very unstable. Of course he doesn't want to walk, he wants to run. So glad that is done now. He's a crazy kid on drugs.

Later this evening Amanda, Jo, Dane and I went to play volleyball at the stake center. My parents watched the kids for us. I came home early so they could head home and they had a funny story. I guess Brayden started to complain about his chest and then he started to cry. So it started to freak them out, so my dad lifts his shirt to see and can tell that bray's heart is beating really fast. Well Bray starts to cry really hard so my parents try to get ahold of us. My dad puts his ear to Brayden's chest and right then brayden pukes all over my dad's head, the floor, the couches... Brayden felt sooo much better and my dad had to take a shower. I think we tried forcing him to eat too much since he hadn't eaten all day. Poor guy.

YOu guys are so patient--it would be so tough for us to have to keep taking our girls to the hospital. We continue to pray for little Bray and hope that everything will be okay.
