The BUG

The past couple of weeks our family has been trying to get over the cold/flu bug. First I had it for a little over a week, then it went to Ani (who only got better two days ago), then it went on to Brayden (still trying to get rid of his cough). Lucky for Dane he hasn't gotten it. Yesterday was our first day out and about in a while. It was so nice to get out of the house. We drove past Bray's school, got the car washed, filled up the gas tank, and did some shopping at Target. The weather has warmed up a bit (in the 50's) and it makes a huge difference. I'm thinking by tomorrow brayden's cough will be totally gone and we can hit the park.

Before lunch time the kiddies were playing together with Ani's toy. All I could hear was laughing. They caught me trying to take a picture.

Couple of weeks ago we went out for Kekoa's birthday at Tucanos. Poor Nani had to eat with Brayden in her arms.

Ani is now moving all over the place. She doesn't crawl but rolls and scoots her body along on the back of her head. She's building up a strong neck. She gets to where she wants to go. She loves her solid foods now. She eats rice cereal, oatmeal, sweet potatoes, carrots, and squash. Next week we are moving onto fruits.

Brayden is really into puzzles. All he wants to do is his puzzles. He is actually pretty good at them and amazes me each day with how much he can get done. One night while we were driving home he just started to sing his ABC's. He missed a couple of letters but I was surprised that he even knew that much. He is now fully in his big boy underwear. He actually stands like a big boy too. We still have our little accidents once in awhile. Sometimes due to his inability to pull down his pants. Tricky little things. For the most part though, he is doing super. We haven't had any accidents in his bed either. I'm happy because pull-ups can be quite expensive.
