Our Valentine's Day

hope everyone had a great v-day. we had a crazy snow storm last night. bray came into our room to tell us that his window was cracking. we assured him that the windows would hold up to the wind. with no nap he fell fast asleep. this morning bray's pre-school was canceled. he was bummed since we put together valentines for all his friends in class. i had to convince him that they would have their valentine's party the next class time. he was pretty disappointed.

we got a sweet surprise in our mailbox. maile sent bray & ani a valentine's package with all sorts of treats.

THANK YOU! the kids opened up everything before i had a chance to take a picture. it made their day!

since bray didn't have school we went shopping. the kids chose little gifts for daddy, we bought stuff for a great dinner, and the kids got to choose a gift too. they both wanted these big coloring books. bray talked me into getting a video too. i told him daddy would be mad that we were spending all his money. bray assured me that he would talk to daddy and take care of it. too funny. how could i say no? so they colored in the books and watched their new video, charlotte's web. they actually really like that movie. must be the talking animals.

ani would color in her book for a little and then go bother bray. she would lie across his book or stand on it trying to get in his way. she loves irritating her brother. it's her new favorite pastime and it drives mommy a little crazy.
