a family visit

aunty tiffy, aunty britty & maile came to visit us this past week. we were looking forward to this visit since we found out they were coming. dane had a volleyball game right before they were suppose to arrive and bray was going to go with him to pick them up. when we were leaving the game we found messages from them saying they were delayed in cali. some lame guy driving the truck broke the tire of the plane and they had to fly another plane in for them. instead of arriving a little before ten, they didn't get in until almost 1:30 in the morning and they got to our house a little before 3 am. so junk for them. so we all slept in till ten or later(except for our morning riser brayden). amazingly we woke up around ten or eleven the whole time they were here. it was nice.

the first day we went up to gateway to do some shopping and mostly because i needed to fix my ipod. i accidentally threw it in the washer and it wouldn't hold a charge anymore. luckily, they just replaced it for me. what great customer service. i was pretty happy. that night meliss drove down to hang out & we went to eat at yamato. we use to eat there a lot during our college days because it was very affordable for college students.

the next day dane had work off and meliss stayed over. we took them to one of our new favorite places, kangaroo zoo. maile was unsure of the whole bouncing thing but all the adults took advantage of doing the slides and obstacle courses. ani loves the huge slide now. we finally let her go by herself. she kept squirming to go down alone and we had to catch her from trying to go head first. she seems too little to be that daring.

she looks scared but she is all laughs when she gets to the bottom and is heading back up for more!

we love this girl!

it is very difficult trying to climb these things with a child in your arms. some don't have the straps to help pull yourself up.

after some naps we tried going bowling but all the places had at least an hour wait. so we got pizza and his aunties bought bray an ice cream cake from baskin to celebrate his birthday early before they left. it was very ono!

aunty meliss made us cookies twice while she was here. the kids loved helping her.
