papa's bday & father's day weekend

this past friday we stayed up at midway because we all had free rooms and they expired at the end of this month. my parents, jo & amanda, us, and aunty kehau & uncle wayne came up.



my stomach was still a little strange from my recent bout with stomach flu-- so the food didn't taste good to me.

after dinner we played chess...








the kids were getting a little tired

our room was strange. when we first got there i told dane that i thought our room was made for midgets (or is the correct term little people?) Anyways, he didn't believe me but at the end of our stay he realized it really was made for midgets. We had a peep hole in the middle of the door. The closet didn't even come up to my waist and the coat hooks were halfway up the walls. Perfect for the kids... Also, there wasn't a bathtub. It was a strange shower too. Very interesting. Good thing it was free.

We went swimming in the morning and rode the carousel before we checked out.

We decided to take the kids down the alpine slide. We haven't been up there since we were little and the prices have gone up. We debated whether we wanted to pay that much but we had already told bray about the slide and didn't want to disappoint him. Amanda and I were waiting at the bottom of the hill to take pictures and I commented on how it probably wasn't a good idea to put Bray with Papa. Soon after we see a cart flying around the corner and I realize that is my son with my dad. According to my dad he said that Bray kept yelling faster, faster, and he was the one pushing it to go faster. Dane said Ani didn't make a peep going down.









We hit the outlets for a little after that.
