this past monday brayden came down with some kind of stomach bug. the rest of the ing family left in the morning and we hung out with mike & sherene before they took off. they were over having dinner when brayden was complaining about his tummy being sore. next thing you know he is puking all over the ottoman. he must have thrown up at least 10 more times that night and twice in the morning. all of which,surprisingly, made it into the toilet. the first time he threw up he was in the bathroom apologizing to dane for throwing up on the carpet. it was pretty sad. today, he is feeling much better. his appetite seems to be back and we are going to seven peaks in a bit.
weaning ani is going okay. my parents are watching them this weekend so we can do something for our anniversary. mom, if you are reading this, she is doing great! actually, though, she is terribly grumpy. yesterday was the first day she didn't breastfeed at all and there was lot of crying. she drinks from the sippy cup great but she is fussy. she bangs her head (or fists) against my chest in a manner that says...give me my milk! it is going slowly but only because the first couple of days i kept giving in. she was so sad...and it broke my heart. i'm sad to stop too but it is time. she will be ready for this weekend mom and dad!

maile got the same thing. oh oh. we just came back from the er. it was like a waterfall at dinnertime.
