ONE already?

i can't believe that she is one. today is actually her birthday. she was born on the 16th of july. she technically doesn't turn one till 11:15 pm. she barely made it before midnight. we thought for sure she would be born on the 17th and share a birthday with the twins. i went in to the hospital and contrations were a little slow but sore and all of a sudden it sped up dramatically and out she came.

on her first birthday, ani isn't quite walking yet. she is getting better and better. she never really had the interest before and i never really pushed or encouraged it. it was easier for me. i'm pretty sure she will be walking around with brayden within the month. she is pretty determined now.

she loves eating real food, especially rice and noodles. she isn't a huge fan of fruits, only the pureed kine. so she still eats her solid food. we have discovered she loves birthday cake, especially the frosting. she loves to eat yogurt for breakfast and her favorite snack is string cheese.

she now has eight teeth (some still in the process of pushing all the way through) and i love her cheesy grins that show her teeth. she loves laughing along with people and talking. this girl can talk. i'm not sure who she is having a conversation with sometimes but she loves it. it is so adorable.

she loves to head butt everyone and anyone. from the front and back. mommy hasn't been too good at keeping up with signing but she might think that clapping means more since it is so similar and every time i say more, she claps. she still loves to snuggle and mommy absolutely loves it. if ani gets a chance, she loves to dig at your eyes, your nose, and pull at your mouth. it doesn't feel very good but she thinks it is hilarious.

i wanted to have a post to read back again and remember all the things she was doing at her 1st birthday or things she enjoys. it amazes me how different in personalities my two children are already developing. ani is my sweet little girl and we are so blessed to have her. she already adds so much to our little family with her pinch-the-cheeks-so-darn-cute smile and her very contagious laugh. words can't describe how much she is loved. happy birthday to our little tiani.
