Doctor Visits

Today was Bray's EKG visit with the Cardiologist. We now go every two years. It's been nice. Dane took the morning off to take him up to the Primary Children's Outpatient. We love Bray's cardiologist. Dane said everything looks good! Bray did great. No more screaming or crying like past visits. We won't have to go back for another two years. Yay!

Ani's finger was healing great until Miss Mika decided to jump on Ani's finger from Bray's back. It definitely looked flattened but we decided to wait and see. A couple days later it started to look like it was changing color and we took her to the pediatrician. They did blood work, x-rays, and put her on antibiotics again. Blood work came back good. No bone infection. X-rays showed that it was still shattered, whether Mika ruined any progress, we don't know. They sent us to the specialist the next morning who asked us to come back today to do a procedure called grating (I think). On Friday the physician assistant said the finger had a lot of dead tissue that needed to be removed and that was the reason why it was changing color. The outer layers were dead. Ani must have heard the doctor because she started to tell people her finger was dead and they were removing it on Monday. Poor child. Today they removed the dead skin and it looks a lot better! He says the skin can heal better now too. Ani commented that it is actually starting to look normal and it is!

The waiting is actually a lot longer than the actual visit with the doctor!
