Six months

Lele is actually almost seven months in a couple of days. We had her appointment set for last month, the day we were leaving for Hawaii. When Dane took her to it they told him that they canceled all the appointments that day because the power line was hit and they had no power. Dane asked them to give her immunization shots and we would bring her back to do the other stuff another day.

Today she measured at 14 lbs. 06 oz. She is 28 inches long and her head is 17 inches in diameter.

At six months she was crawling/pushing up and forward and sitting pretty well. At almost seven months, she is definitely a mover. She crawls, sits, and is starting to push up to stand if she is holding something. She is actually a really happy baby. Smiles at everyone. Although the next two pictures she is mad because she was waiting for me to get her and I walked back out to get a camera. This is how she greets me in the morning but usually with a smile.

She is really loving her baby food. She loves puffs (and so does Bray and Mika). She still sleeps like a champ and takes two naps during the day. One is usually for three hours or more. She absolutely HATES her carseat. HATES it. I think she just hates being restrained. Like I said, this girl is a mover! She loves to dance and really, just loves being held. She loves interaction. She eats everything and it's a constant challenge to keep things out of her mouth. I keep having to remind the kids that she can choke on their toys, stickers, and snacks. The younger ones definitely have to survive in harsher conditions! It's amazing she makes it through the day.

We love this girl. Someone at church yesterday said she certainly brightens your day because she is constantly smiling at you. She definitely does that for us.
