New Year's Eve

Maile was blessed the morning of New Year's Eve. We were happy that we got to be here for it. Here is a picture of us with maile girl and aunty britty. Also, Brayden and Maile in her pretty dress.






That evening we had a nice dinner with the family. After dinner we headed over to my brother-in-law's family and popped some fireworks with them. Anyone that lives here or has visited Hawaii during New Year's knows how crazy it can get. Brayden really enjoyed it. He loved just sitting on the lanai and looking out over the valley and watching it all. He even liked lighting them himself. A big difference from this past fourth of July. He got a little blister from his sparkler though. You can see his sad face in the last picture of him. Oh the tears... He didn't make it to midnight. On the way back to the Manoa house, he fell alseep and we just let him sleep. Maybe next year. Ani didn't even make it past nine.
